This boutique hotel interior design project is part of an ambitious restoration in Brecon, Wales. A victorian mansion dating back to around 1500, it was previously owned by the Duke of Buckingham and has sat boarded up for the last four years.
The new owners are transforming the breathtaking property into a five star boutique hotel. The vision for the space works around few concepts, mixing period furniture with modern styles and playing with the scale of the rooms. This interior design project is expected to finish in 2023.
Light colours and textures have been used in the plans to mirror the amazing Brecon landscape and serve as a backdrop to smaller, meaningful details. The interior designs feature small botanical themes in the colours and textures as a reference to the incredible botanical garden that once stood in the grounds.
