Redland Home
Location: Redland, Bristol
Project type: Colour consultation
Our client had recently moved into this beautiful Victorian house in Redland and wanted find a colour scheme for her hallway that suited the era of the property, while still feeling modern. Having decided on yellow, she was feeling overwhelmed with the task of finding the perfect hue.
During my initial visit, we explored a range of yellow tones from a sustainable paint supplier, all of which would complement the Victorian architecture.
We settled on the perfect yellow, and also changed the lighting to alter the perspective and feel of the space.
Changing the lighting from uplighting to downlighting brought warmth to the space, as well as highlighting the areas that needed lifting.
“Emilie was very helpful and knowledgeable about colour, lighting and everything I asked about. In fact, she brought with her a sample of a colour for my hall which I'd been searching for unsuccessfully for some time. I am so pleased with the result.”
